(b) By using the Website or booking tuition services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, which form a binding contractual agreement between you and Invent the Compass Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”).
(c) If you do not agree to these Terms, you must refrain from using the Website or our services.
(d) We may amend these Terms at any time by updating this page. Continued use of the Website or services after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
(e) All bookings must be made in writing via: info@inventthecompass.com.
(f) Bookings will not be accepted by telephone to avoid miscommunication.
(g) Bookings require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations by Invent the Compass Limited will be communicated in advance, except in the case of an emergency.

(h) Group booking absences cannot be refunded or cancelled. The absent party remains responsible for payment.
(i) Breaks requested by the client during a lesson will not result in extra time being added.
(j) Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary equipment for lessons.
(k) All lessons are recorded for safeguarding purposes only. Recordings are securely deleted within 7 days.
(l) Introductory or new client offers may only be used once per household/student.
(m) All tuition is undertaken at the client’s own risk. We do not accept liability for academic outcomes, examination results, or decisions made by exam boards or third-party organisations.
(n) We are not responsible for errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in third-party materials (including textbooks, exam board publications, or online resources). Clients are advised to cross-check information with the relevant awarding body.

You agree to use the Website only in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws. You must not:

11.1 Governing Law – These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
11.2 Waiver – Waivers must be in writing and signed.
11.3 Severance – If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remainder will remain valid.
11.4 Assignment – Rights under this agreement may not be transferred without written consent.
11.5 Entire Agreement – These Terms supersede all prior agreements.
11.6 Interpretation – Standard legal interpretation rules apply.
(a) Payment must be made in advance.
(b) Once block bookings have commenced, full payment is required.
(c) Cancellations require 48 hours’ notice; an alternative slot will be offered.
(d) Block bookings must be completed in full; partial cancellations are not permitted.
(e) Face-to-face sessions are charged at premium rates.
(f) All offers are discretionary and may change without notice.
(g) Referral discounts may only be applied once.
(a) All employees of Invent the Compass Limited have the right to work in a safe environment.
(b) For face-to-face lessons, staff locations are logged for safeguarding. Online lessons may be recorded.
(c) Recordings are stored securely and used only for safeguarding, before deletion.
(d) Lessons will be terminated immediately if unsafe or inappropriate behaviour occurs. Payment will still be due.
(e) Face-to-face consultations will end at the agreed time. We do not provide childcare services. Parents/guardians remain responsible for children at all times.
(a) These Terms apply for the duration of all ongoing consultations and lessons. If no booking occurs for six months, the agreement will automatically expire.
(b) A new agreement must be signed if lessons resume after a gap of six months.
(c) Client information will be retained securely for six months following the last lesson or consultation.
